Group Guitar for All Ages Winter 2012 

Experience the Fun of Group Guitar Lessons!

Thursday nights, Jan 19 - Mar 22, 2012        10 weeks
$150 - No registration Fee for this session! 

BEGINNER AND INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASSES FOR ALL AGES


 Ages 7-16           6:00 to 6:50 PM


            - For students who have never played the guitar or taken lessons.
                - Students will learn to read music, play chords and songs, and learn
                some classic and modern rock ‘n’ roll tunes!
                 - Required Materials: Hal Leonard Guitar Method Book 1 ($6.99) or with
                optional CD ($10.99); and Hal Leonard Power Chords - with CD ($14.99)

 
  Ages 17 and UP             7:00 to 7:50 PM

          - For adult students who have never played guitar, or have some guitar
             knowledge and want to advance their skills.
            - Students will work on reading, chords, and a lot of famous songs!
            - Required Materials: Hal Leonard Guitar Method Book 1 ($6.99) or with
             optional CD ($10.99); and Hal Leonard method supplement More Easy Pop
             Rhythms - with CD ($14.95)


Also recommended for both classes: Tuner/Metronome


Instructor:

Instructor  Adam St James is a Brookdale Music guitar teacher and author
of numerous music instruction books, including the best-selling “101 Guitar
Tips: Stuff All The Pros Know And Use” and “Logical Lead Guitar.”  
He is the former editor of Guitar.com, writes for Guitar Edge magazine, and
is also lead guitar and singer of the Almost Brothers Band.

Our Instructors

Brookdale Music works with the finest instructors in the Western Chicago suburbs. Our instructors are highly educated in their instruments; most have completed Baccalaureate or Masters Degrees in Music. Many are regular performers in professional bands, orchestras, and choruses, and are school or church directors.

Rates and Registration

Lessons are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. to find out current available lesson times, teacher availability, teacher rates, or teacher background information, or to sign up for private or group instruction, please contact the Lesson Coordinator. 



Renting

If you need to rent an instrument, we rent all of the major band instruments. Visit our Rentals page for more information.
